COVID-19 Protocols
Dear Customer,
Our number one priority at White Knight Pest Control has always been to keep our employees, customers, and families healthy and safe. For over 20 years, we have worked very hard to prevent pests from damaging the living spaces of our customers and bringing harmful diseases into their homes. With the widespread of the Covid-19, we want to do our part in helping minimize the spread of the virus in our communities and still protect our customers from the harm that pests cause to their homes and well-being.
The United States Department of Homeland Security has deemed Pest Control as an “essential business”:
“Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary for maintaining public safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences.”
Please know we are completely committed to protecting the health and homes of our customers by continuing to provide you with a thorough service. However, to play our part in preventing further spread of the coronavirus while preventing other diseases and illnesses from occurring due to pest issues, we must adjust our INTERIOR treatment protocols by doing the following:
- If an interior service is requested, we will ask if anyone in the home is sick or quarantined. If so, we will not enter your home and will provide the full exterior maintenance service as always.
- Most pest issues can be taken care of by performing an exterior service. Because their nesting and breeding sites take place outside, many pests such as spiders, ants, scorpions, wasps, earwigs, beetles, and many others can be controlled by performing an exterior service even if you happen to see them inside your home.
- Our technicians will always wear personal protective equipment such as a respirator or face mask, shoe covers, and gloves in special cases where interior services are needed. They are also required to keep a distance of at least 6 feet from individuals inside the home. Some pest issues that require technicians to enter the home are bed bugs, German cockroaches, and fleas. If customers have a special pest situation, please contact us and discuss it with a customer service representative.
- Our team members are required to wash their hands and equipment after every home visit thoroughly. Also, if employees feel ill, they are advised to stay home.
We’re confident that with our highly trained team of technicians combined with the use of the most effective pest products and equipment in the industry, you will continue receiving the quality service you expect and deserve. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here for you every step of the way!
Sincerely,
White Knight Team
